It’s very exciting to welcome you to my School Of The Heart! It is the flower of my own personal ten year journey - from the head to the heart!

As a qualified Primary Teacher, I have had over twenty years experience in working with children and parents of all ages – especially those with Learning Difficulties. I grew up in Sydney and initially my career began here. I had itchy feet though to see the rest of the country – especially the Northern Territory and so was grateful to have the opportunity to teach in a multi-age bush school, where half the children were Aboriginal. This community welcomed me with open hearts!

In coming to Brisbane a few years later, I taught at a very academic school and in contrast to my last experience, I was overwhelmed! I found that so many of the children with special needs had anxiety in even attending school. It was then that I decided I wanted to teach something beyond the guidelines of the standard curriculum, as I could no longer operate in the current system. I developed some burn-out symptoms myself and then made a conscious decision which changed the direction of my life as I knew it. I decided to put myself first and embark on my own healing journey.

So I began an inner quest, spanning the last ten years where I studied and practiced a wide range of natural therapies, including:
Aromatherapy Massage Reiki Flower and White Light Essences Clearing The Soul Line Breakthrough Meditation Feldenkrais Colour and Sound Healing and Yoga. I would also like to thank Gabrielle Hart and Brian Martin for their inspiration and heart-felt musical work. Meditations from the books – “A Course In Miracles” and "A New Earth" were also paramount for my inner journey.

My passion at the moment is to Sing and offer Crystal Bowl Healings and Teaching. I have joined the Wing Song Acapella Choir, in Wingham. They meet every Thursday night at 5:30pm at the Anglican Church Hall. I have also joined Kids Network here in Forster, which is auspiced under Forster Neighbourhood Centre. The Crystal Singing Bowls were imported from Crystal Tones in the US.

My first CD is called: "Awakening To Heart Intelligence" and I have played and toned with seven Crystal Singing Bowls. It will soon be on this site for you to download.

I work intuitively with both children and adults in providing a space
where you can open up your heart to your own joy. In this school, you discover self-empowerment and thus your True Self. This is something which is not "new". Heart Intelligence is a very ancient way of being.
